Next weekend, on May 6th, will be the official Coronation of His Royal Highness King Charles III. While he became King on September 8th, 2022 upon the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the pomp and circumstance of it all took some time to plan, and so it will be done on May the 6th.
The equivalent of this scenario, is like having a justice of the peace wedding to make things legal, and then having the big church wedding later with all the guests.
