Cottage Witch

Our real life sister is what is commonly called a cottage witch, or a kitchen witch. She practices domestic magic, also called low magic or everyday magic. Low doesn’t mean lesser than, it just means not “high” or ceremonial magic. Low magic is less elaborate but not less important.

Many people think of witches and casting spells and performing rituals. But, the truth is that witches have the same goals as everyone else – they just use a different set of tools to achieve them. Crystals, herbs, tinctures, maybe a little tarot. Spirituality in it’s most basic of forms.
