The reputation of cats as a whole, tends to lean towards the generalized attitude that cats are assholes. This reputation is nearly always well deserved, but in our personal experience, Siamese cats seem to pride themselves on nurturing this reputation and enjoying every second of it. While they can be some of the most loving and snuggly of companions, they tend to only extend that side of their personalities to a very select number of people. While most animals will bond with the one who brings the food, Siamese do not always bestow this privilege upon their feeder.

We have to agree, that the appeal of a round pallet bed is quite strong, visually. It looks super cute and fun right ? Then we have to think about, how do you sleep on a bed like that if you are not a curl up in a ball sleeper? Stretching out on something like that seems like it would be quite complicated, and positioning would have to be spot on down the center, or you are not going to have any mattress under you. Not only that, for anyone who has ever slept on a wooden futon bed, you know that it is only 1 step above a pull out sofa, and that is only because there is not metal bar going across your back.

The Power Of Pink

We have all heard the ever popular phrase ‘Sex Sells’, and for better or worse, it is a quite accurate statement. Over the years, I have found that ‘Pink Sells’ is also just as accurate. By my totally unprofessional and non-scientific calculations, ‘Pink Sex Sells Best’ is probably the ultimate in marketing practices !

While today’s post has nothing to do with sex, it does have to do with pink ! I myself, am not the type of girl that gravitates towards pink, in our system, that would be Kait or Bekkah, but it does not dissuade me from being able to enjoy the color from the perspective of someone that does like it.

For me, the Luanne Bedroom Set from Bee Designs, is not one that I would choose for my personal bedroom, but it is one that Bekkah thinks is absolutely wonderful ! Tho she feels the lack of fairies is disheartening, but she has more than enough of those to add her own !

While I have not added fairies, I did add some neon angel wings and daisy flower wall decor from the Isabella Bedroom Set, also from Bee Designs, to help fill out the decor.

Less Is More

How many of us have drooled over the home & decor blogger photos of a room that is decked out so spectacularly, it should be in a Showhouse Magazine ? I do it damn near on the daily !

I admit to not being too shabby when it comes to some decorating. I can make a room look great, but, I tend to lean towards the less is more approach in my personal decorating choices. While I may love the look of a fully decked out living space, my brain has a bit of a tweak-fest when it comes down to it. I do not like lag, none of us do I know. I may tolerate it at a Live Music or shopping event, I refuse to have it at home, in any way shape or form. This is why, as it has been stated before, we live in a skydome, with no house, no landscaping, 1 chair and 2 cats. Personal living choices do not stop me from loving putting together a look tho.
