As most of you know, it is extremely rare to see a fashion post on our blog. It has been just over a year since we made the choice to focus on home & decor and we have not regretted that decision once. This round of Cosmopolitan left us no choice but to include a little fashion with our decor.

As we were standing in the blogger room, we could not help but picture this shot in our head as we saw each of the items all presented at the same round. Today we give thanks to our military service members. Those that fell in battle and those who were left to mourn them. Those that served in conflict, and peace time. We give thanks to you all.

When it comes to love, you should never see it as a race, or a competition to see who can get to some predetermined milestone first or fastest. Walk, don’t run, enjoy the journey and the scenery along the way. Stumble, brush each other off, limp for a little bit and heal each other. Keep walking. Never take a single day for granted. Say I Love You more than you think you should, but don’t forget to show it as well, or the words lose meaning, but both are still important.

The next milestone may feel like it will take forever, but forever is what you have. If it’s worth it now, it will be worth even more then because of the strength you built together getting there.

We seem to have a fascination with all things horny. Goats, unicorns, dragons .. wait, do dragons have horns ? I am going to say yes they do, and since I am the one writing this opinion, I can !

We actually have a RL tattoo on our shoulder of a cute lil devil baby with a diaper and a pitchfork, that was my ‘First day of college’ gift to us, and it is still one of my favorites. Devil on our shoulder at that point in our life, seemed far more fitting than an angel, tho we probably could have used the angel more.

When I first saw this horny lil Yoko outfit from LooKatMe, I thought the top was a kitty, which it certainly could be. Then I saw the panties, and well, those spaded little tails make it quite clear what the devil wants to make you do. The outfit includes a HUD with 5 color options for the ears and spades. There is also a sneaky little demon eyeliner included as well.

My dear, religion is like a penis. It’s a perfectly fine thing for one to have and take pride in, but when one takes it out and waves it in my face we have a problem.

Religion is one of those topics, that we tend to avoid talking about, but once we do, we ramble quite a bit. We fully support each and every single person on this planet’s right to choose their own belief system, and to practice that religion, provided that it does not involve doing harm to others. As the quote above says, you are perfectly welcome to be proud of your penis, but that does not give you the right to wag it in someone else’s face.

Personally, we are not fans of organized religion, as a whole. We consider ourselves spiritual but not religious. We believe that there is a higher power, and refer to it in general, as God, and male, because it is just easier. We believe that there was a man back in the day, named Jesus, who was that age’s version of a Mother Theresa, but not so much that he was the son of God in the way that the bible likes to tell it. We also generally believe that “God” is universal, and no matter what the religion, it all comes back to the same being, who just happens to get called different things based on cultural and geographic traditions.

We believe that God gave us all free will, and that he does not take that away when we die.

Want to hang out in heaven for a while and just chill? Sure !

Want to go back to earth and wander around? Great, ghost it is !

We always seem to link people with a symbol. Sometimes it is an animal, or a certain flower, or super hero, whatever it happens to be for that person. Once you have associated that item with a person, it is that person you think of every time you see one. For us, dragonflies will always be associated with our Grandmother. She who raised us.

She has collected other things over the years, but for us, if we think of her, it is dragonflies that come to mind first. When I saw this stunningly delicate necklace and earring set from Second Nature Jewellery, I thought of her and smiled.
