Would always prefer a view to live for, than one to die for. You can’t enjoy the things once you are dead, so why do we consider that preferable ?
We have a future to live for that is starting to become more of a reality than just a wish and a dream. The timeline has moved up dramatically, but as always we know it will be worth the panic and insanity now, to be able to love and enjoy it.
Our real life relationship with Troy is moving to a more physically together full time and married version in a month ! Eeeee !!! We had thought it was going to be in November, but life as always has a way of changing plans, so we are getting married in February instead.
What that means for the blog is that we will be taking a break while we get RL sorted and settled, and then we will be back with a new vengeance so keep your eyes out for our return.

This new release from Crowded Houses offers so many options to play with just from the hidden bunker entrance you can see from the picture. The bunker itself is modifiable which makes blending the mesh covering super easy to match with your sim terrain It also works really well as a skybox and fit easily on our 64 x 64 parcel. Our parcel covenant does not allow terraforming above a certain level, which many of you may fun into as an issue. It is easy to use the bunker at ground level if you keep the living levels under water level, which actually would make this an awesome home for those who love the land as well as the water. I chose to take it up to the sky instead, and used prims to extend the ground level in front of the entrance slightly to fill my parcel size. The area above the bunker is large enough for an entire other house if you like, or a gazebo for outdoor entertaining.
I could not give you a teaser of the outside without showing you just what goodies you can fit inside!
As you can see, the interior living area of the bunker is quite modern but that does not mean you can not make it feel as homey as you would if it had windows. The main living area is quite spacious and offers access to two larger rooms on either side of the center botanical garden space. There are also 3 smaller rooms as well as a fully built in modern sleek kitchen. On your way down from the bunkers entrance you will also pass by an armory, a command center as well as a large vault which is fully stocked with gold bars!

There are two major players in the debate on when summer starts and ends. Team astronomical summer vs. team meteorological summer.
Team astronomical calendar insists that the start and end dates of any season are based on the changing position of Earth in relation to the sun, generally regarded as equinoxes and solstices. In the Northern Hemisphere spring ends and summer starts on the June solstice, which occurs every year between June 20 and June 22. Summer ends and autumn starts on the September equinox, which occurs every year between September 21 and 24. In the Southern Hemisphere summer lasts from the December solstice (December 20 to 23) to the March equinox (March 19 to 21).
Team meteorological summer define seasons based on climatic conditions and the annual temperature cycle. Team meteorological summer is a rather scientific team, and prefer to compare these changes based on a more consistent timetable. The length of the astronomical seasons varies between 89 and 93 days while the meteorological calendar is fixed. Winter has 90 days (91 in a leap year). Spring and summer each get 92 days leaving autumn 91 days. This generally translates to the Northern Hemisphere experiencing summer from June 1 – August 31. The Southern Hemisphere would mark summer from December to February.
Most of North America and Europe are team astronomical calendar, while Australia and New Zealand are team meteorological calendar. There are some areas where a third team comes into play which would be the cultural calendar. Traditional Chinese and Celtic calendars place the June solstice in the middle of summer, while the United States culturally considers the summer season to be Memorial Day (last Monday of May) and Labor Day (First Monday of September).

The phrase ” A whale of a time ” is an idiom. An idiom is a phrase that does not seem to make sense if taken literally. People use these phrases nearly every day in their normal conversations without thinking twice about them. Idioms are often troublesome for non native speakers who may be confused by the combination of words that do not seem to make sense together.
Break a leg, Beat around the bush, Bite the bullet, Speak of the devil. Just a few more examples !
