Kahakai [prononounced kah-hah-kahy (rhymes with “high”)] means by the shore or beach. HISA could not have named this gorgeous home any better, for the wonderful tropical beachy vibes it gives. With large windows and glass doors, this home has views for days that you just can not miss ! There is even a built in Koi pond on the roof !

When we took this picture, the weather was having a bit of a warm streak and spring really felt like perhaps it was closer than it really is, and then, it snowed. One of our favorite things about SL, is that the weather is as consistent as you want it to be. If you want to live in the snow all year round, you can ! Fancy beach living for all your days ? Totally possible ! There may be many things that change minute to minute, but SL weather is not one of them !

There is something about putting together a full landscape scene, that brings such a level of excitement and joy when we can step back and look at it like this, and just be in awe of the beauty. Then there comes the bittersweet feeling that comes from knowing we have to tear it all down for the next one.

There is something about this particular scene, that makes us long to live in this exact place in RL. Alas, that is not to be either !
