With large windows and glass doors, this home has views for days that you just can not miss ! There is even a built in Koi pond on the roof !

Kitchens are probably our favorite scenes to set up. They tend to be some of the more detailed sets that we do, while still keeping our less is more aesthetic. We want this kitchen in our RL home, we want a RL home that could accommodate this kitchen too, but that is not today’s point.

Happy February 1st ! I would say that it meant Valentines Day was nearly upon us, but let’s be honest, we have all been looking at Valentines decor and candy in the stores since well before Christmas. Sadly, this is a phenomenon we commented on before Christmas as well. All this ‘ lead up ‘ to holidays feels like it is taking more and more away from the holiday itself. By the time the actual holiday rolls around, we are sick of looking at its paraphernalia.

It is not often that we manage to do an entire post using nothing but featured sponsor items, but when they all go together as beautifully as this, who could resist ?
It is funny how things come together innit? It was certainly a realization out of left field for Troy and I (Prin) when we got together 2 years ago today. Not only did it come out of left field, but we did not even realize we were standing in the field to get smacked by it in the first place. Beth and Kait had to have ‘the talk’ with us both and say ” DUH ! ” before we would even admit to ourselves let alone each other, that what we had, was more than we were willing to admit it was.
2 years ago today, we realized that what we were feeling was far more than butterflies fluttering around. What we had was full grown hippos in tutu’s and dancing penguins on parade. We still refer to penguins and hippos whenever our stomachs feel that familiar parade of emotion.
I wanted to take a moment and give you a bit more detail on the Cerridwens Cauldron – Vivarium Tile set that is available at Uber. I loved the overall look of these tiles as flooring under the patio, but it does make it hard for you to see them well. They pair beautifully with matching wood shades of the Green Wall Cabinet and Coral Tank Showcase, as you can see above.

There are 3 types of tiles available in the set. Swamp Tiles with swaying flora, with a menu option to turn the moving off. Light tiles and solid tiles allow you to mix and match to achieve your favorite look.
Light- Affects only the Light Panel Tile- Turns on/off the big center light panel. The panel has projected lighting if you have advanced lighting on. The light color will match the panel color.
TileGlow-ON/OFF switch. Affects the glowing strips and decorative corner lights in all panels.
Twinkles- ON/OFF switch. Affects only the swamp vivarium panel. Turns on/off the twinkles inside the panel, no advanced lighting necessary
PlantGlow- ON/OFF switch. Affects only the swamp vivarium panel. Turns on/off the glow on the plants inside the panel, no advanced lighting necessary
PlantSway-ON/OFF switch. Affects only the swamp vivarium panel. Turns on/off the gentle plant swaying in the plants
LightColor- Affects only the light panel tile. Takes you to the light color selection sub-menu, where you can choose from 10 different colors for the tile/light
GlowColor- Affects all the tiles. Takes you to the light color selection sub-menu, where you can choose from 10 different colors for the tiles glowing strips and corner decorative lights.
ScriptDel- Will delete the scripts after a warning confirmation message. Once you have deleted the script you will not be able to do any further changes to the showcase.

Christmas comes in all colors, and for some that even includes pink. When we were growing up, our grandmother used to change the theme of her Christmas Tree each year. We can remember Blue and Silver, Red and Gold, Bird and Pine Cones, Ribbons and Lace, White and Crystal, just to name a few. Then there were the years that she mixed and matched among all of the previous themes, which were all packed away and labeled according to color / theme so they were easy to find in future years.
As our Grandmother has gotten older, and all of us grandchildren have too, the scale of her decorating has gradually become smaller. She has passed down many of the ornaments to children and grandchildren, who now hang those on their own trees. This year, we will help her decorate the small tree in the dining room with the small collection of ornaments she chose to keep, and hang the wreathes on the windows and doors. The traditions have been weeded down to just those few that she can manage and has the energy for, but those few are still holding strong.

For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, things are getting colder, so it is a good time to remember that if you are cold, your animals are cold too. We are quite aware that not all animals are indoor pets, but that does not mean they should be left to fend for themselves without adequate shelter.

Tis the last day of November, and since Thanksgiving has come and passed, it is now perfectly acceptable to start putting up your Christmas decor. Those that insist on putting it up before Thanksgiving, are just a bunch of heathens!
Today’s post was inspired by our mothers cat Toby. It takes more time for her to put the tree up than it does for him to find a comfy spot for a nap. Unlike the real life version, I forgot to leave the ornaments off till they got bored of the tree.
