When Daddy decides it is a good day to work from home, he gets all kinds of help from the very best assistants money can’t buy, but cheerio’s are acceptable currency. He can even get a scalp massage from our very own Ollie, while Elijah helps mummy fold the laundry and Zander supervises.

We have just recently finished binge watching 3 seasons of the UK Broadchurch with Troy. As with so many of the shows we have enjoyed watching, this was no exception. Crime dramas are some of our most favorites, and we have now moved on to another UK one called Unforgotten. We only watch shows together with Troy, but we very much enjoy listening to audio books on our own, and funnily enough we are nearly done with a UK crime drama series by Joy Ellis, the Jackman and Evans series. If you are in need of a comfy place to snuggle and watch or listen to some of your own favorites, the Urban Farmer set at InsurreKtion is a fantastic place to do it.

Romance, is a wonderful thing, and it has as many definitions as their are people to give their definition of it. What is romantic to one person, may do absolutely nothing for another. It is a widely known opinion that Paris is one of the most romantic places on earth, and yet, for us, Paris does not bring thoughts of romance it brings thoughts of narrow roads and crazy drivers, too many people and memories of classmates brushing their teeth in the bidet at the hotel. None of these things bring thoughts of romance, even if they do bring some pretty funny memories of a very drunken start of a senior year trip to Europe.

We manage to say it for every scene we do ” This is deffy one of our faves “, and it is true. We would be hard pressed to pick an actual favorite scene we have done because they are all our faves in one way or another. Every scene seems to hit on something different, and make us happy for different reasons. This one just makes us feel happy and contented. No reason why specifically, it just does. Perhaps it is because it includes the Narra set from Scafall which is available at the SL Living Expo till March 12, with all proceeds going to support RFL and kicking cancers ass !

Last night we finished the last episode of season 2 Gentleman Jack. Sadly it had not been picked up for the 3rd and final season, but the 2 seasons that were made were fantastic. I just had to use a scene from the show on the television, since that is what we have been binging for the last week or so.

If you are not familiar with the show, it is a historical docu-drama about the relationship between Anne Lister and Ann Walker. The two were married in Britain’s first known lesbian wedding At the time in 1834 it was neither legal nor recognized by the Holy Trinity Church in York where the two took the sacrament together on a fine Easter Sunday morning, and considered the act their own version of taking vows to each other, entering into a marriage unto themselves.

The story of their relationship is one that was written by Anne Lister herself, as she was a prolific diarist, and her personal diaries total 26 volumes written between 1806 – 1840, and included over 5 million words, 1/6th of which were written in her own cypher code. The code was needed to disguise the quite graphically detailed tellings of her sexual encounters and love affairs with those of the fairer sex.

In our RL, our home is pretty sparse when it comes to furniture to sit on. We find it does help keep visitors away since everyone knows we do not want them to visit anyway, but not having anyplace for them to sit is also an added incentive. In SL, we can whip out a wide assortment of seating options for damn near any occasion from our inventory if needed, tho we generally do not have guests there either, and the restricted access deters those that might attempt it. We need ban lines in RL !

When we were about 12 or so, and our younger cousin about 3-ish, she used to pronounce Yellow as Lellow. We spent an entire weekend laser focused on teaching her how to pronounce it correctly, and it worked! We were so pleased with ourselves that we were able to teach her something, and could not wait to show off her new correct pronunciations to her mother when she picked her up. Our Aunt was utterly annoyed, because of course she thought Lellow was cute, and let’s face it, it really is !
